The Banks Approach was founded by Dr. Jayme Banks, a leader in education and whole-child systems transformation. Dr. Banks has held leadership positions across education, non-profit, and the private sector, bringing more than 15 years of experience in strengthening systems that foster learning, well-being, and connection. Most recently, she served as Chief of Student Support Services at the School District of Philadelphia, where she oversaw a wide-ranging portfolio of student-facing initiatives.<\/p>

Her work spanned mental health and wellness, school climate and culture, student rights and responsibilities, health services, enrollment, and family and community engagement\u2014reflecting a comprehensive approach to creating supportive environments for students and families.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Throughout her career, Dr. Banks has led efforts to strengthen citywide partnerships, expand access to healing-centered practices, and build sustainable systems of support. Her leadership has included developing large-scale wellness initiatives, expanding telehealth and trauma-informed services, and expanding health, wellness, and prevention initiatives across schools and communities. She has also served as an adjunct faculty member at local colleges and universities, preparing the next generation of educators and clinicians by blending research, practice, and leadership development. Drawing on this breadth of experience, Dr. Banks created The Banks Approach to help organizations design healing-centered, inclusive, and sustainable solutions that improve learning, wellness, and belonging.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
